First part of September, made a reservation for this hotel in Pocola, OK. So, we finally get to settle down in the room and then go to the restaurant for a nice meal. In addition, they quote the military rate and the attendant informs me that there is a $50 charge for room damages to insure I do not punch holes in the walls and if I don't it will be credited back to me at check out. I inform the attendant that I have a reservation and they pull it up and my email confirmation says I have a room with 2 queen size beds but their computer says I have 1 king sized bed. Well, low and behold I finally get my turn to register(no gaming card for me). I stood there waiting to check in about 20 minutes because it is hotel policy to prepare a gaming for each person when they check in so now they are completing a bunch of paperwork on each person so they can have a gaming card for casino use. there 2 attendants at the desk and they were each helping a couple check in. Drove 200 miles, visited the Mounds and headed for the hotel/casino and arrived about 5 pm.
Tripped planned to visit Spiro Mounds and then stay at the hotel and do a little gambling, eat at the restaurant, and generally just have a night out of town.
